Here are the human rights violations for 2007

The Sahrawi human rights organisation CODESA has put together a report of last year's human rights violations committed by Morocco against the Sahrawis.
Published: 22.03 - 2008 22:06Printer version
Codesa is an independent human rights organisation in occupied Western Sahara. The organisation has not been permitted to be formally registered by the Moroccan authorities.

The report is 103 pages long and can be downloaded here (1,9 mb).

Since 1975, three quarters of the territory of Western Sahara has been occupied by Morocco. A majority of the population is still living in refugee camps in Algeria. Those who remained in their homeland are subjected to serious harassment from the Moroccan occupiers. For more than 40 years the Sahrawis have been waiting for the fullfilment of their legitimate right to self-determination.
